Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Seasonaire insurance

Hello - i've been offered a job for the season in France.

Does anyone have any recommendations for insurance that would cover loss of earnings if I was to get injured?
I'm mindful of the fact that i'll have committed to paying rent for the season, and if i do get injured/sick and am unable to work, i'll have no income so it could end up being very costly.

Many thanks!

Not sure if they still offer it but back when I did a full season with loads of hairy off piste I used BMC (British Mountaineering Council) for insurance on advisement from a guy I knew that did Himalayan mountaineering. Cover was excellent and affordable and thankfully I didn't need to claim! Shocked I would think loss of earnings cover would be available.

@Elfie,
First thing is to look at your employment contract regarding sick pay.
I've never heard of a seasonnaire season insurance covering loss of earnings - most cover rescue from mountain, hospitalization, repatriation - but there may be some out there.

Hey guys, I got a ski season job in Verbier. Thinking about getting MPI seasonnaires insurance+ the Premier SnowAssist cover that can pay extra for with ski pass + European Health insurance card (Irish citizen). Thoughts?
