Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Sauze: good instructor for school trip?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Daughter 2 will have a school trip to Sauze next March.
D1 went to Switzerland just before COVID, and by chance had a snowhead as the instructor of her advanced group. 5-6h teaching per day in a group of 4-5, she came back well advanced. Max I remain grateful for your work!
D2 went to Sauze last year, similar arrangement (ok poor snow), but she said the teacher was poor, just like the school trips of my youth they were mainly interested in showing the kids a fun week with the occasional drill or skill, not much progress.
The school has now booked at Sauze again, definitely a different hotel, I don’t know about instructors. What are my chances of getting in a request to insist on real teaching and progression, rather than (as well as!) a fun week? D2 is furious that D1 can frankly annihilate her on the slopes so would really like that. Of course I can’t speak for the rest of her group… But she’s in the upper year, this is her last chance to get such concentrated teaching.
Any thoughts?

Best way to make progress is to hire a 1-to-1 instructor session for every day of the week.

A 1-to-many instructor is always going to spread their advice thin.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Emily is a fantastic instructor. I don’t think she takes groups larger than 4 though. We’ve booked her for the third year running this winter. Well worth the investment if you’re lucky enough to find availability in her schedule.
