Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hiya all, My daughter and I are heading to Tignes Le Lac on the 13th of Jan 24 on the EasyJet flights out of Aberdeen for a week, I'm looking to book a private transfer and willing to share it with anyone traveling on the same flights to the same destination, if your reading this you probably have priced these connections as well so know roughly what the costs would be, let me know if anyone's interested.
Thanks
Ross

Are you flying to Geneva? If so have a look at a shared transfer with Snowdrone.

https://snow-drone.com/shared-transfers/

Might be a bit early for any schedule yet. Maybe drop them a line. Highly recommended on here, it's a proper door to door service. My guess would be about 80 euros each way pp.

Snowdrone shared transfers daily schedule for the past 2 years have followed the below timetable

Depart Geneva
1130
1230
1430
1630
1730
1930

Arrive Geneva (usually depart resort between 3 and 4 hrs prior)
0800
1000
1200
1400
1600
1800

As @GeorgeVII mentioned it’s a very good service, just don’t leave it to the last minute to book especially for weekend travel.
The other alternative is https://www.bensbus.co.uk/ski-transfer/tignes-airport-transfers/ but I would recommend allowing a bit of extra time especially on a Saturday return to Geneva

Thanks for the above info and apologies for resurrecting the thread. I've been toying up flying or driving for a late trip to Tignes in April '24 with my son. At the moment if I fly and get a hire car from GVA, or drive from UK (Inc tolls and fuel) it's pretty much equal price. I'd prefer to fly, just to reduce journey and driving time. So if I can arrange a shared transfer rhats cheaper than car hire thay would be would be helpful.

Problem is, €80pp each way is still about the same as hiring a car (I've been quoted a fiat 500 for €250, 5 days hire). So I will keep searching!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@Randyp909, your shared transfer price sounds pretty good so I don't think you'll beat that by much. Price should drop a bit for car hire, but remember you'll have to add fuel / tolls.

And parking if its not included with you accommodation.
Also Snowdrone usually have various discount codes available that can take either 5 or 10€ of the cost.
