Poster: A snowHead

If any of you good lady Snowheads own this brand and could give some guidance, that would be brilliant.
My daughter is a size 8 to 10, but often gets a 12 in a ski jacket, to allow for layering. She ordered an Atomic Small (as the Medium had sold out), on the off chance it would fit...and it was a fraction tight across the chest, so returned it.
She then ordered a Hyra in an Italian Size 44/Medium (UK 12). It was substantially smaller than the Small Atomic....so much so that she is now wondering if even a Large will be big enough.
My Question. Do Hyra Jackets run very small...and if so, by how much?
Many thanks for any insight.

very small. My wife, typically a 12, couldn't fit into a 14 and we had to go for an 18 to get a degree of comfort.
The type we looked at was stretchy, but the are very small sizing.

Yup - they run small, but mine has been very good so if you can get the sizing right, a good buy

Yup, that's what my daughter said, so I'm hoping the Large fits.

Not ideally.
She can (and did) wear it because it's stretchy - but would be better with the next size up. It is well made and warm, but layering needs to be thin, with a Gilet, as the arms are tight.
This is the Women's version though....so I have no experience if the Men's version is the same.

The ladies Hyra's are (or certainly were as looking above my info is 8 years old) quite a fitted shaped as in "in at the waist and out at the hips", my sons men's one was a fairly straight cut.
