Poster: A snowHead

Looking to book for Feb/Mar 24. At the moment Easyjet not showing flights for winter.
Ryanair not showing anything to Treviso. They do have flights to Venice on Sat & Sun but not so convenient time for us.
Does anyone have any idea what is happening ?

@Gufo, It is a very long time in the future, but Opodo is reporting dozens of flights on Saturdays to and from Venice at the end of Feb starting at about the £140 mark return

@Gufo, Just the "upfront" low-cost airlines concentrating on the busy airports EG near a big city like London manchester etc. Now by upfront, I mean that they look cheap if you are travelling to somewhere that you don't need a cabin bag or a hold bag. They do have the advantage of direct. However, Lufthansa has a complementary ski bag or hold bag and is about £150 return. It has a choice of 1st thing flight or afternoon. Also it has a 7pm flight back so you have time to get back from Skiing.
You wont get cheaper than that and FRA is a good and fast transfer airport.
KLM is another option but watch out for cabin bag weight.

If travelling through Frankfurt make sure you have plenty of time for the change. I've missed connecting flights there before and my checked luggage has also on another occaision failed to make the transfer. And expect the non Shengen passport queue to be long. It's a huge airport and at times you feel like you are walking miles in underground tunnels. I'd allow at least 90 minutes.
But it is inexpensive and at times seems to be the only way to get to Venice (or Innsbruck)

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Easyjet scedule up until March 2024 has been on sale for a while. Same as RyanAir & Jet2.
If nothing from Edinburgh, then the route has probably been dropped & you will need to pick alternative airports to depart from.
Why Venice? Dolomites is just as easy accessible from Innsbruck if that is where you are heading.

Thankyou so much for info.
Much prefer direct flight but may need to explore these options. I just wondered if Easyjet and Ryanair have yet to decide their schedules for Venice ?? Perhaps we are looking too early

We choose Venice as we can use Venice Cab for transfer or Cortina Express bus Both are excellent and much better than car hire since that has jumped in price now
Don’t know if Innsbruck has similar.

Innsbruck is even more difficult to get flights to but you never know.
