I was just thinking how awesome it would be to have a series like Drive to Survive for ski racing, I was wondering if anyone else felt the same way?

What makes Drive to Survive is the personalities and the intrigue between the teams, plus a bit of the race drama
Certainly a lot of the extreme skiers were racers who came up a little short, and some of them have (had) great personalities. Vonn and Schiffrin have unusual idiosyncratic personalities. I'd bet some of the Europeans are ruthless too.
So I say yes.

Would love to see it. It's a bit more niche than drive to survive, but of course drive to survive got a lot of people who wouldn't otherwise have been passionate about F1 very involved. And it would be a lot cheaper to make. One for a streaming service to take a punt on.

There's a Henrik Kristoffersen documentary series on Viaplay that's an interesting watch.
A current obstacle to making a "Drive to Survive" is the lack of a collective TV rights/marketing deal. It's complicated and boring but adds another hurdle to anyone wanting to make one. It'll be interesting to see how well the Tour de France one does as pro cycling is arguably a niche sport too
