Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Therm-if (Sidas) rc1200 boot heaters - one battery works!

Thermic (now Sidas) rc1200 Heaters for ski boots and with batteries and heaters BUT ONE battery failing!!!

My wife’s boot heaters which were very effective BUT one battery is now failing - on full heating power it only lasts half an hour or so.
The other battery was bought 3-4 years ago by chance in a ski shop that had some “new old stock”.
The heating elements themselves work - the newer battery lasts most of the day.

I’ve disassembled the OLD failing battery case in the hope of trying to buy a compatible replacement lithium ion cell but cannot find that fits the case.
(Easily reassembled by you or me! It’s a pair of 3.7v cells wired in series to give 7.4v - with a little printed circuit board on top linking the two cells and to stop over-charging and discharging)

Am hoping there’s someone with one good cell who can use this to keep their set going as the replacements are completely different cables, connectors and batteries and cost over £200!

£25 plus p and p

You can have the used sticky sole covers that I’ve taken off if you wish, but you can buy new ones - which I’d strongly recommend - from Sidas U.K. or a good ski shop.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
