Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi
Wife lost the screw (and black washer) that holds the visor on to the helmet. Have looked online but no one seems to have them available on their website, and bolle have said they can't help. Does anyone know of a shop that is likely to have these spares and I can call them directly? Thanks

Try SportRx - if they can't help, they might know who will.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You need to Login to know who's really who.

That's bad from Bolle. When I asked POC where I could buy their screws they sent me a pack free.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@musher, it is indeed, and worrying, as I have a Bollé visor helmet. It is also unexpected as they replaced FOC a pair of titanium framed sunglasses that fell apart. However, it was my optometrists that dealt with that not me.
@risb98, perhaps find a stockist, Bollés website suggests you do just that in fact.

DO YOU SELL REPLACEMENT SCREENS / GLASSES OR SPARE PARTS?
We do not offer the online sales service for spare parts and replacement screens / lenses. However, we invite you to contact a Bollé reseller who will be able to take your request into consideration. You will find the closest Bollé retailer to you using this link: https://www.bolle.com/stores |

You'll need to Register first of course.

Since posting this I have done exactly that. The retailer has asked that I send an image of the missing part (luckily we have another backline helmet that still has the screws) and they will contact bolle and request a part ( if they still have them helmet is 4 years old I think) .
The link above does take you mostly to opticians, who I suspect won't be terribly interested in ski helmet parts customer services.....

Sorry, looks like it is out of stock, but they appear to be similar to the V-RYFT ones too, so that maybe something else to search for.

Tiso Glasgow getting a replacement pair of screws and washers for £20. I asked and not the same as V-RYFT helmet unfortunately. I did notice on The Bolle Amazon page that you can get a brand new white Bolle helmet (54-56cm) with 2 lenses for £95
