Hi all. Not sure if this has already been asked but figured someone here would know…
We’re off to Andorra in a few weeks with a big TO, flying into Toulouse. I assume the French will stamp us “in” to the EU when we land, but will we get stamped “out” when we cross into Andorra?
Asking because it will affect summer plans in order to stay under the 90 day limit.

Thanks @ousekjarr, so now my task is “simply” to persuade the TO transfer bus to stop at the border. (That might be a tough one). Anyone here managed to do that?

@KNoceros, Not on a tour bus, but we got a bollocking from French border control because we we hadn't been stamped out of Spain! You do need to make sure you get stamped out and in.

Contact your TO & tell them you need to be stamped out of and back into France.

@KNoceros, you can usually ask the driver to stop. They’re used to it especially if it’s Andbus. You might need to remind them closer to the border.
It can sometimes be challenging actually finding a human to stamp your passport though at the French border!

Went there with Neilson at NewYear and bus didn't stop. Chalet staff photographed everyone's passports on arrival as "Andorra insist on it so they have a record of how long you were outside schengen". Sounded like BS to me that you'd be able to access that as proof yourself.

That is BS! The Andorran authorities don’t know who is coming in or out at the border most of the time. It would more than likely be something to do with tourist tax or a record of who is who in case they need to call the police.
The EU hardly bother either. I don’t get my passport stamped out of the EU when I arrive in Andorra as I have an Andorran residency card. Only once has my residency card been asked for (Barcelona airport) and not once has anyone counted up my number of days that my passport shows as being in the EU - about 310 days in the last year!

You normally have to ask the bus driver to stop. Not all do. It is a bit easier if you have a car.
A while ago I had it stamped when entering Andorra. Actually the first booth is still Spain, and that is who stamps the exit.
When going to catch a plane from Barcelona a couple of weeks later, I did not bother to stop and get it stamped. When I got to Barcelona, the immigration guy looked for the new entry stamp and I said they did not stamp it when I crossed over from Andorra. He asked when I exited, which was like 4h earlier, and he was fine with it.
The whole process is just PITA and when ESTIAS come into play, I am not sure what issues that will cause.
