Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Blizzard Team Versions for Wife?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
hi,

My wife has been skiing a pair of Volkl Shiro Jr 153s for the last 8 years. Intermediate skill set, moderate speed. Sshe enjoyes the easy turning and ease of offpiste skiing. However, they are not the grippiest at 100mms and not very carvy and lack short turn pop.

Stats are 159cms/52kg.

I was thinking maybe take advantage of the affordable Blizzard Sheeva Team? in a 148 or 156?

Is she "light enough" for these? Or shoud we be looking at regular Sheeva or Black Pearls instead? In which length? Shiros are full rocker, hence the question.

Other suggestions welcome, too!

thanks!!

@danbre2022, my 11yo uses the 140. She is approx 140cm and 35kg so my initial thought was that the Rustler team would be too light for an adult.

But the Blizzard fact sheet makes interesting reading. The weight goes up a lot with each length and the 164cm version has exactly the same specs as the 164cm Rustler 9 so you may have stumbled onto a good deal!
