Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chambery is a nice little airport, so small and quiet and unused it's great... might be suspect in bad weather though, but I'd use it again, no problem

JT, I got rather well acquainted with the floor of Chambery airport, which I had to sit on, with a leg in plaster, for 5hrs, with about 10 planes loads of people sprawled out everywhere. Pretty over-used on saturdays- AVOID!

And on a related topic, flybe have just sent me an email with the following classic:

'If you’re itching to get out on the slopes again, this is the time to book. We’ve got the best ski deals right now, at loads of cool resorts like Chambéry, Cherbourg and Geneva.
It’ll be a great trip to look forward to – spending the day shooting down the piste, then finishing off back at the lodge with a glass of wine in front of an open fire.'

People get paid to write this stuff Shocked Shocked

The Edinburgh flights to Chambery arrive quite late. Should avoid congestion and also leave time for the fog to lift. But many of you are going to be pitching up at your hotel / chalet late for dinner and far too late to sort out ski hire and lift passes. Mind you, you can probably squeeze an extra half day sliding on your return day. Laughing
