Can anyone tell me if St Anton in Austria is a good place to spend Christmas?

ialford, Given the choice between St Anton and Manchester I would go for the delightful Uastrian ski town every time. Dont hear many grumbles about St Anton on this forum.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'm sure St Anton would be a great place to spend Christmas, although I can't comment on snow records

Frosty the Snowman, apart from stanton himself grumbling about the preponderance of males among his fellow holidaymakers

ialford, I am not a big fan of Val d' Isere but many love it. If you can put up with a long transfer, big, busy and brash then the skiing is fabulous but IMHO most places have great skiing.

Ski Club of GB historical snow figures show St Anton has generally had better snow at Christmas.
