Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Taxi cost: Val D'Isere to Bourg St Maurice

Hello - does anyone have a recent cost of a taxi from Val D'Isere to Bourg St Maurice? Just doing some advance planning. It looks as if the timetabled bus doesn't get me to the station on time during the week.

There are plenty of transfer companies that can take you from val to bourg. Try Whiterides.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Try Snowdrone. They have about 8 shared transfer vans between Val d’Isere and Geneva each day, but will also drop off or pick up at Bourg, Moutiers and various places along the route.

@rdk, whoever you go with just book really early , every week during the season social media is littered with people who have left too late looking for lifts

We found that the shared transfers had no availability when we tried to get a taxi down from Tignes to Bourg St Maurice. The taxi prices down from both Tignes and Val d'Isere appear to be ~100eur, which is approximately what I paid to get up to Tignes from the station a couple of years ago.

Thanks @sugarmoma666, I was figuring 80-100 euro

rdk - yes 100 euro is about right but make sure you book very easy as others have said. Snowdrone for Val probably have the most options id say!

Thanks @Steve Angus.

By the way, do you have any view on the Everest Hotel? Is it the Auberge St Hubert remodelled and renamed? Prices look good but the original hotel had very mixed reviews.
