Bit random but are there any travel restrictions when it comes to travelling with a selfie stick??
I've just brought a GoPro Max and have Insta360 selfie stick, which is actually quite sizeable (+25cm). Just wondered if its ok to go in hand luggage or will it have to go in a hold bag?

I haven't come across any. The standard Insta360 stick is about 20cm. I usually carry mine in my snowboard bag, mind. I have a Rhode boom which runs at 70cm collapsed, no issues with that. But this is all in the hold - I've not taken those into the cabin, which is maybe what you're asking. You could check with the airline or LHR I suppose, although it may be hard to find an answer which you could rely on. I reckon it'll be fine.

Hold Luggage, no snags.
Hand baggage - depends on the searchers at security, if they think it could be used as a weapon, then it will go in the bin.

I have a selfie stick that is around 40-50cm long and extends to 3m's, and it's no issue on a plane in hand luggage.
