We are looking 2 go away on March 28th, family of 4, 3 reasonably ok skiers, and my wife is looking 2 snow shoe due to cruciate injury years ago, and a general fear of skiing. Due to work, need to leave after work Tuesday and can return the following Monday. We are based in north wales and need to fly from Manchester or Liverpool, and so far the most reasonably priced destination is Geneva. Main criteria is reasonably snowsure, snow shoeing for Mrs N, good range of skiing, good priced xfers, and ideally a non concrete resort with some charm. Have skied in Flaine b4, and can get good priced accommodation in Samoen for £2500 (flights, transfers and 4 star hotel with pool etc). Other resorts considered and ruled out, Megeve , to low and can’t afford restaurants, la clusaz (been b4 and a bit to spread out). Would welcome alternative suggestions.

Peisey-Nancroix (parts of Les Arcs) meets all your criteria and is easily accessible with shared transfers from Geneva.
The village is very sweet old and non-concrete village. The area has snow show routes in the Vanoise National Park and the local tourist office organising daily excursions.

Great range of snow-sure skiing throughout Les Arcs and easy access to La Plagne as right by the cable car across - so very centrally located in the Paradiski ski domain.

How about Lauterbrunnen; cheaper than Wengen and Murren with access to both. Lots of charm all round in that valley and loads for a non skier to do up either side, in the valley, or down at Interlakken

Another one if Austria is on your list is Mayrhofen - higher skiing than most Tirol resorts so snow should be OK, and my OH went snow shoeing there in March 2019 - she also went on a number of walks up and down the valley. The village is much nice than it was back in the 80s.
Not sure about flights, but Salzburg or Munich could have reasonable choice and fairly short transfers; Innsbruck would be best, but it won't be doing those days of the week.

Hadnt thought about Lauterb, have beem their in the Summer, remeber it being expensive but will check. Mayrofen is on the list, struggling to get reasonable flights from the North,.will look again
