heading out to st foy at end of month for the first time , just looking for some info on the marked in resort uphill routes and any other tips I can get , planning on using the routes to get a bit of leg work done in the mornings and also for some fresh tracks as the lift system opens , we're staying down in the old town and also wondered if possible to ski back to there at end of day without any or to much bushwhacking , any other beta on what sounds like a great area and resort would be most welcome

@Dabber, there is lots of great off-piste in St Foy. I have skied there plenty of times travelling out from Les Arcs. Les Face Nord des Foglietta is quite superb, Freerando or a decent hike is required to access it. Hire a local guide or contact the local ski schools to see what they can offer, I would not be doing that without a guide. It might include a short bus trip too - but I could be wrong on that. I have had some super powder days there -enjoy!

@Dabber, if it’s is possible you can follow the tracks behind La Batailletaz onto a meadow , where you join a unploughed summer road you turn right on this road and ski for a few 100ms or so where you will see the tracks take a left hand turn onto another meadow you ski down this small meadow crossing another small access road round the back of a chalet /small farm onto a wider meadow , where the old ski club drag used to be decades ago , this meadow then stretches all the way down to the main road that runs through Sainte Foy village , turn right onto the pavement 150m to the centre .
