Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking for recommendations for googles with specific requirements

Im looking for recommendations for googles, requirements as follows :

- interchangeable magnetic levens
- lenes to have some adaptability eg. tint in high light, but i understand that no lens is suitable for all lighting conditions
- needs a really good sun lens
- needs a really good overcast, shady, late afternoon lens
- Dont need a brand name like Oakly, but would like something decent

In the past ive always waited until i was at the resort to try and sort this out and have never got to the bottom of it, always felt ski shops selection was limited and over priced.

Any recommendations ?

My input:
Mag lenses: they're out there, should be no problem
Lens adaptability: I'd let go of this and get some glacier glasses to cover the really bright days...no single lens covers it all and carrying/changing lenses (even mag) is a pain.
Sun lens: see above. If brightness is an issue, get GGs
OC lens: really what's needed, pink or orange, your choice
Brand name and cost: don't get hung up on either. You get what you pay for.
Where to buy: find a big, good shop with a wide selection, now before its too late for the season, and prepare to spend the hour you've likely never spent trying 'em on and making sure they fit you and mate well with your helmet/balaclava. Also check to see if they have a clear lens, if you night ski.

I finally stepped up and spent the time to wade through 'em all and spent $200 vs the usual 60-ish and they're better in all respects. Spending more also made me use the lens cover so they last longer!
