Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

My friend has these salomon S810ti bindings on his skis, and the front won't lower on one of them so there is a big gap between his boot and the ski. Is this fixable or are the bindings done?

It sounds like the binding with the gap has a part missing, since it sounds like you have tried to adjust them. I you can get a picture of them posted on here it will give a better indication of the issue.
However, if these are the original S810ti bindings, they are from around 2004/5 so are probably well past their use by date, and if you took them to be ski shop to be looked at they may refuse to work on them due to indemnity / liability.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks for responding so quick. Attached are pictures of the bindings. The good ones go up and down when I adjust them but the other ones don't move.

I can’t see your images, I just get the 3 file names.
It sounds like the height adjuster has seized if there is no
movement
, so could be either rusted solid or have something stuck in the thread. If you have applied as much force as you are comfortable with, then your next choice is probably a ski shop, but as mentioned if they are from 2004/5 they may well condemn them for safety reasons.
