Poster: A snowHead

Watching it now on W channel which I've never come across before . No internet led me to retune our TV. It's quite interesting and the scenery is stunning - obviously. They're in Val Thorens tonight but don't know if it changes locations. Some chap had his first run of the holiday and popped his knee tearing his ligaments. Happened to our mate in Utah not fun for him. Can't help but pray nobody gets injured on our trips.

Was aired in 2019 originally.
Always Val T.
It was a great series.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

One of our guests (when we had the chalet) slipped and broke his leg as they got off the just arrived transfer bus.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I can't be doing with the medical emergency type programmes.
I wished there was something more to do with the overall running of the resort but guess I'm in a minority.
There was the show about the Cairngorms a few years back but would love one about a large European or North American resort.

When I ran the University ski trip to schladming a chap called Eric slipped on the top step of the aircraft arrival steps and broke his leg...can't do worse than that!

I watched this last night (as a change from "How do they do that") I've set the series to record as it beats watching Jamie Oliver

@rungsp, my friend slipped walking out the house to get in the car to drive over with her family, breaking her leg. Does that win?

@rungsp, I'll play for an honorable mention with a member of our group breaking his hand after getting into a fight with someone (he was a bouncer, so work related injury) 24 hours before we would fly out to Geneva. He was denied boarding as the cast was still fresh, and had to have a Fit-to-fly note faxed to the airport from a doctor friend of his fathers, and eventually arrived about 8 hours after we did, spent the week in resort but couldn't learn to snowboard because of the break.

As a young teen I fell down the stairs at home 3 days before heading out for a week breaking one of those silly bones in my foot.
Arrived in resort on crutches and didn't walk on it all week.
Made sure I got some tight ski boots and still skied - that was the advice from the Dr at home who was a keen skier! I liked that Dr

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Did you rent boots? That would have been some sight, someone coming into the rental shop on crutches to rent ski boots!
