Poster: A snowHead
|
Just realised we'll be staying close (Schwendt) and wondering if anyone has any tips. Could only make first downhill (Fri) as leave next day. According to info. this year must pre-book tickets online £12. Is it worth it or are practice days good. Any spots in town where the Brit skiers hang out (Dave Ryding on our radar!!). Any info appreciated.

Practice days are fine, as you just watch it at different places on your normal day pass. You dont need to have any extra tickets other than if you want to be at the bottom of the hill sitting in the stand on the screens.

@holidayloverxx, I'm well aware of that (DOH), FYI there is a slalom event on Sunday 22nd, as he won it last year I'm sure he'll be attending!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@skivor, ah..I see, you said you could only make the Friday now I see you are hoping to catch a glimpse somewhere. There might be a fan night where they do signings ...trying to remember if that's usually the same night as the bib draw but I can't. The resort website will likely have details nearer the time, as will the FIS
