Hi everybody - we're going to La Tania for the first time in Feb. Our preference is to rent skis from somewhere near the lifts that allows us to leave our rented skis (and our own boots) with them overnight so we can change as soon as we're done for the day without having to immediately head back to our chalet. Is it safe to assume any of the shops in La Tania will let us do that?

Hmmm, not sure. None of the shops are very big inside so I don't necessarily think there's room for people booting up, especially in peak high season. If you want to ask, Ski Higher are the closest to the lift and the only Brit run shop. https://www.skihigher.com/
You can definitely rent a locker at the gondola though, and a new footpath has been built this summer so you won't have to trudge through snow to get to and from it  https://www.skipasscourchevel.com/en/consignes-ski
Also, the World Cup is on Feb 6-19th so if your dates coincide, I would rent the locker online now.

Depending on where your chalet is in La Tania, it may be possible to ski almost to the door (and visa versa). Quite a few chalets are located close(ish) to the pistes, so long as a ski through some trees etc is doable.

Thanks @cacciatore. Good point. I've just been looking at a map and I think you're right... we might be able to cut through quite easily and just take our stuff back to the boot room before going for a drink. A few mins walking at most it seems.

As above la Tania is really small and most chalets are seconds from the slopes. The apartments tend to be in the village centre. But nothing is more than 5 mins walk.
