Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ryanair bag drop night before flight

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I have an early morning flight with Ryanair tomorrow from Stansted. I seem to recall they allow for bag drops the evening before. However I got an email from them saying "Stansted bag drop opens at 02:30am for your convenience on the day of your flight. If you're on a flight departing before 7am you may drop off bags from 2:30am."

Just wondering if anyone has any success dropping the bags the night before recently? Not going to bother waking up at 2:30am just to drop bags.

I’ve done on BA and easyJet IIRC. They allowed you to drop at much more sociable hours the evening before.

Worked well - gave me a few more minutes in bed in my airport hotel before the horrendously early alarm

Edit: just realised you’re asking about Ryanair specifically so this isn’t particularly helpful. Sorry!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Done with BA and TUI. Must less stress/unknown in the morning!

Tip for BRS TUI day-b4 drop fliers - park in the short-stay car park and they give you a parking voucher valid until about 10pm that day, so you don't need to pay or hurry.

Yes, I dropped off my bags the night before at Stansted last January, so they certainly did it back then.

Where do you park to do this? Isn't STN the UK's biggest rip off for drop offs, short stay parking etc Puzzled

Almost as bad as Ryanair bag charges wink
