Poster: A snowHead
|
Went to Xscape Castleford yesterday.
During June & July they're offering 2 hours for the price of one - ie, £20 instead of the usual £30.
They're also offering BOGOF deals on beginners lessons.
Presume Milton Keynes will be the same (?).

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You can get 2hrs for £30 anyway on some weeknights - we normally go Tue or Wed from 7-9, and students (sadly I'm too old...) get 2hrs for £15!

Plake, you're never too old. Sign on a course at your local FE college ( eg beginners guide to christmas decoration making - 4 hours), and you automatically get a NUS card for that academic year, qualifying you for student discounts. Even if the course costs a few quid, you easily recoup the cash is skiing, cinema trips, extra food at various fast food joints etc etc

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Plake,
The offer is 2hrs for £20, not £30.

spyderjon, it seems Milton Keynes is not making the same offer.

Spyderjon - oops, yes you're right, slight case of posting before reading/thinking I'm afraid!
I'm not surprised they're bringing in some offers, as the last couple of times I went it was VERY quiet, with no lessons at all on the main slope. Virtually everyone there had their own gear and were reasonably competent so obviously a lot of the regular pre-holiday near-beginner customers have disappeared with the end of the season.
