Snow Reports

Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone have any experience of ski school in arc 1800 ? I've just discovered aplineresorts.com on the recommendation of this website and got a great deal on my ski hire (glad that I learned
skiset
are evil before booking !) and they seem to recommend either ESF or Evolution 2 Arc 1800. Both seem to offer very similar ad comparable prices but ESF is a 930 start rather than a 9am start at Evolution so I'm tempted by that if nothing else. Thanks

I would go with either Evo2 or ESI Arc Aventures (which you didn't mention).
It's a very long time ago that I had lessons in Les Arcs - but I have used Evo 2 and ESI in other resorts.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks, I'm just investigating Evo2 - but out of interest, why not ESF ? If it makes any difference the lessons or for kids <10 with just a few hours dry slope / snow dome experience.

I hold my view for two reasons:
1. EVO2 and ESI have guaranteed smaller classes.
2. The ESF experience can be more of a lottery.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Agree with that ^^

Thanks both, It looks like ESI only have one space left at half term week and I need two so I better get booking before EVO don't have space either.
