Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how much TUI charges for ski carriage? Looking to book flights to Innsbruck from Birmingham but their website has no information on this when booking and have been hung up on twice when giving them a call directly.

Once you choose the Hotel and press "Continue" (up by the price), that should take you to a page giving Flight info and the Ski Carriage cost (which can change with different airlines). When flying with TUI Airlines, the cost is £50.

Thanks! Only looking to book flights through TUI and don’t see that option when booking. It just says to call their customer service line to enquire about booking ski carriage.

Took that route last March and think it was £50, plus 90 minutes screaming into the void on their phone line booking it, plus ridiculous check in queues at both ends. Never again*

*Until the next time that it's the only sensible option. But this year using a different airport and airline despite being 20 mins from BHX.

With a package from Crystal, it is easy to book when booking the holiday, never tried on a flight alone.

If it is any help, it cost the quoted £50 for Luton to Innsbruck return for this December.
