For anyone lucky enough to have the later Feb half term next year (17-25 Feb), there's still very good, cheap, flight availability from London airports.
Easyjet or Swiss <£150 return or BA has lots of Avios seats still.
I was a bit confused until I realised that it seems most London schools, and maybe other regions, have the previous week 10-17 Feb.

We're lucky enough to be in that week and have just booked.
Was keen to book early after paying through the nose on our first HT trip with the daughter this year. Was a bit last minute so easyJet for 3 of us was £1700 booked in Jan! 
This year we are a group of 7. easyJet was coming out at around £1600 for the whole group once luggage added, but noticed last week Swiss was coming up in searches last week. Managed to get the whole group of 7 for £1008, which feels like a win for that HT week.

Does anyone have any idea when Easyjet tend to release their flights for over Easter. We're looking at 6-13 April; BA have theirs out and they are taking the proverbial given it is the week after Easter week so not exactly peak time. Swiss no better, so fingers crossed EJ can provide something affordable.

@frosty75, £1k for 7 people return is a good outcome. BA seems to be assuming it's not half term anywhere, as the return leg was identified as "off peak".
@snowhound, you might find the BA prices drop once the EZY flights get released - I've had that happen a few times. BA's pricing computer seems to think it has a monopoly, and prices as such, until EZY actually releases the flights for booking. Then it panics and cuts the prices.

I booked a few weeks back with BA for the first week of February, LHR to Innsbruck. Total cost of £400 for the 2 of us including car hire for the week. I know it's just before half-term and not quite high season but great value nevertheless.

It can vary year to year, but just to flag that it was 19th May last year.
