How many times can I replace the bindings on my skis?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

On a normal well built Alpine pair of skis you can probably change them a couple of times if the hole pattern allows.
@Spyderjon is the expert in this so if you tell him what the skis and bindings are he’ll probably be able to give you some advice

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Puzzling question - barring catastrophic damage the usable lifetime of a binding would normally outlast that of the ski by a long way, such that one could reasonably re-use bindings on two or even three sets of skis in succession. So why would they need to be changed, and more than once?

Maybe to swap one set of bindings between multiple skis - if so QKs are the way to go

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

How else do you accommodate the ski boot shuffle?*
Or perhaps the skis are second hand, and the new owner has different size feet to the previous one?
*Buy boots, often from t'internet at a bargain price. Rapidly discover they are too big; read SnowHeads (or other snow-related Internet forums) and learn a bit about boots. First pair wasn't such a bargain after all. Buy a pair from the local store, with help from a "bootfitter". These are a size smaller than the first pair, and because the bindings were poorly mounted, there's not quite enough travel to adjust. 2-3 weeks later, as the liners pack out, return to SnowHeads and after much wailing and gnashing of teeth, realise that the "fitter" was not really so good. See a proper fitter, buy 3rd pair of boots. These are probably at least another size smaller, so move bindings again. At least now you have boots that fit properly.

That depends on exactly what you are asking. If you have binfings mounted on a plate (like most piste skis today), then you can slide them up a down the plate to your heart's content. If you have bindings screwed to a plate, then you can move them a few times, but you are screwing and unscrewing into plastic with self-tapping screws, so eventually the thread will wear out.
If you are asking about bindings mounted directly on skis (mostly off-piste or park skis), then as above you will eventually wear the hole/thread out if you repeatedly remove and replace bindings using the same holes. If you are moving bindings -- so redrilling, then you need a 10mm gap from any existing hole. This will limit your options after a couple of remounts....
