Hi folks,
I'm after any advice on accommodation for next season!
I'm planning 4-5 weeks in Espace Killy, probably 31st Dec to 4th Feb (that's Saturday to Saturday but we're flexible - NYE on a Saturday is a bit of a pain)
Specs:
* Self catering apartment
* Minimum 50m2
* 3 separate bedrooms -OR- 2 separate bedrooms plus sofa-bed (the extras are for family/guests joining us at different times)
* must have 'proper' freezer (not a small shelf in the fridge), washing machine, microwave, comfy sofa(s), decent WiFi
* Budget £5-7k for the 5 weeks
* We'll have a car but need to be on the bus routes if not ski in/out
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is there a FB group I can join to access locals with places to rent? Anyone got the perfect place they're keen to get sorted for the low season weeks? Or know someone who is? Did you stay somewhere you want to recommend?
Any help appreciated!

I'm not sure how it will go arriving NYD next year. The biggy for the locals is NYE, so the rentals may well remain Sat to Sun, but if the owners want to stay to nurse a hangover for a day or 2 they may well do, but that may mean they would be up for a short week to start with, flexibility will be your ally here.
Ideally you need to speak to the owners direct to try and get a discounted rate for a long let. A good place to start would be Locatignes.com the site was set up by folks in our block who wanted to cut out the greedy agencies. They have properties that meet your spec, not checked their prices.
No where is far from a bus stop in Tignes, so no snags there.

Yeah, NYE being a Saturday is an interesting one, though we’ll be driving over so arriving Monday/Tuesday would be fine.

I browsed Vrbo & AirBnB a few days back, got both of these but glad to see we’re on the same wavelength!
Noted there’s no option of a discount for a longer term rental in low-season weeks - they’ll of course say it’s already baked into the price but we all know the benefits of guaranteed income for someone to take the lot!

Fbook groups:- 'Tignes Seasonnaires' and 'Tignes Seasonnaires 2022' - the latter will probably morph into TSs 2023 sometime over the summer/autumn.

Ski Club of GB has a facebook Val group which is quite active and has several members who live out there all the time (or at least all the season).
They also have a daily meet up for skiing next to the big piste map at side of Bellevarde cable car.

Facebook groups 'Tignes Seasonnaires' and 'Tignes Seasonnaires 2022' were also helpful @Kenzie, so again thanks for the lead. Never got to the Val group @sheffskibod!
