Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

London airport transfer

Not a snow related question, but hopefully the snowHeads collective can help out.

We (family of 3) need to transfer between Heathrow and Gatwick next week. For various reasons, I want private transfer rather than bus or train. Can anyone recommend a reliable taxi company for a transfer like this? Google gives plenty of companies, but I find personal recommendation better for something like this. Thanks in advance.

When I was working and flying into Heathrow a lot I used www.dcexecutivecars.com. +44 7957 363672.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I've used these guys home to/from Heathrow and London City, they are reliable and have a variety of vehicle sizes up to 7 seaters mini buses that can take ski bags. They've been around for years.

https://atlascars.com/

Gave them a quick ring and for that trip (T5 to North) for 3 people with luggage its around £110 plus parking charges during normal hours, if out of hours something like £130+

I regularly use Parker Cars to Heathrow and Gatwick: http://www.parkercarservice.co.uk/ though I use the app normally to book (and tracks the vehicle for pickup)

Reliable service and decent vehicles IMO.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks all. Online booking doesn't seem to be a strong point, none of the pages work so back to the old school phone to book.
