Well after a bit of haggling & a nervous few weeks awaiting planning approval we've just done the deal to buy my now defunct local Post Office.
So, assuming all goes well with the conveyancing & conversion work, in a few months time our online business will also have a bona fide retail outlet - & 'The Piste Office' seems to be an appropriate name!
It's a scary thing to do when the retail sector is taking a battering but there's a big gap in the market in Nottingham/East Midlands so I reckon it's worth a punt.
So many thanks to all of the snowHeads who have supported us with your business over the last few years & have helped to make this possible.
And to keep the locals happy we'll also sell stamps

spyderjon, ...proper job! what a great development of your business. Don't get me wrong...the garage was great, but this is a really good thing. Bearing in mind that almost no retail outlet has any detailed knowledge of protection (it's been VERY difficult to get decent spine protectors for my kids - the good, narrow POC ones are stocked nowhere apart from Sweden as far as I can tell), adopting your usual in-depth approach to all things skiing will bring the trade in, and fast.
