Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A very niche question for you all....
Does anyone know of any public showers in Cervinia?
Probably going to be visiting in August for an instructor course, and planning on driving over and sleeping in the van, however the camper van parking just before the tunnel to Cervinia has no services except water, so I need to find somewhere to shower.
I had thought about a local swimming pool/sports centre changing facilities but there seems to only be one in Valtournenche, which isn't particularly convenient as I'd hoped not to need to drive the van around.
Any ideas?

Alpine stream? Swimming lake?
Valtournenche pool is pretty good (stayed in a hotel across the carpark from it once)
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I don't think it is a completely niche question, plenty of people ski their final day after checking out of their accommodation and might want a shower before the drive home.
Never been to Cervinia though but have used public showers in several other resorts.

@Dave of the Marmottes
, stream or a lake are last options at the moment, would prefer some warmth to my water! The Valtournenche pool is an option, i'd just prefer to not have to drive down there, but if needs be that could be the option. I was just visioning parking up and then not moving the van for the week, just getting about on foot or bike.
@rjs
, perhaps more uncommon than niche, but hopefully someone has found a solution. Fingers crossed.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
