Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Yep learnt to ski there many years back and all my daughters have learned there as well. We have always been very happy with the lessons there and over the years have been regular visitors for a bit of skiing or snowboarding.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It can sometimes get a bit busy at Tamworth when group lesson are on, though less so over the late spring into summer. When I was a beginner (I still am really) they guided me through the plow to parallel period and helped me not a total noob on the big boy slopes abroad.
The two instructors I had Tamworth lessons with were perfectly good, professional and friendly though not quite as good as a snowheads bash instructor of course Very Happy

We just got back from Italy and one day I want to get our Daughter into the Warren Smith Academy when she is at Intermediate level.

It should be starting to quieten down now Easter is done and the ski season is all but over. I wouldn't say Tamworth gets any busier than Chill Factore or the Castleford fridge which are the other two I sometimes use.

Why are they called "snowdomes" when none of the ones I have been to (all of two) have been dome shaped, more of a boxy warehouse shape stuck on the side of a slope.

Are any dome shaped?

@rjs, MK looks a bit like a cockroache’s carapace from above?

Anyone else miss-read ster's post and now trying to picture what a cockroache's codpiece would look like?

Any visitors to Tamworth from around 5th May for 3 weeks, look out for Ed Guigonnet, who is doing an internship there as part of his tertiary education course. https://edguigonnetski.com/ . I’m hosting him in Birmingham for the duration, hoping that in due course I get boasting rights that he was once my lodger when he takes over from Dave Ryding as the next big thing. I’m not sure what he’ll be doing at Tamworth but hopefully might be seen on skis from time to time!
He’s in the GB Juniors squad, 18th in world juniors slalom this year, and overall GB ski champ as of about a month ago. Mum is English (a force to be reckoned with, and constantly raising money to support his exploits), Dad is french, and home is in St Martin de Belleville.
