Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

FRANCE - EU PLF? Passenger Location Form??

Is it right that these are NOT required to be completed?

Has anyone recently been asked to show the EU PLF when arriving in France by Air or Sea or Train…

Just vaccine proof ( fully vaccinated adult ) and the sworn statement - is all I was expecting to do next week. I

Crystal (TUI flight) were insisting on them flying Birmingham to Chambery on Saturday. My recollection is that gov.uk says your carrier may require one.

Short answer: do whatever your carrier requires.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Crystal didn’t ask for one going from Gatwick to chambery last Saturday although wasn’t convinced the women knew what she was doing as she kept asking for the kids (9 years olds) declaration forms when you don’t need them

In Chambery all they cared about was passport and covid pass…..which still resulted in delays of over an hour to get through and then another hour getting bags as all the flight were mixed up

We flew with TUI, Birmingham to Chambery, on March 5th and not asked to show the EU PLF. They did ask if we had the ‘French Declaration’ & had a glance of it before bag drop. Border control only wanted to see passports & covid pass.

I flew to Lyon this afternoon and no one asked for anything. Lots of people were waiving the declaration form and various qr codes but border control just wanted to see passports. Apart from masks on the flight it was like the old days.

Chances are we were on the same flight and I concur, apart from your passport nothing else was required.

Currently on the transfer from Geneva Airport.

Easyjet didn't require them flying in to Geneva. We've done statement of honours, but not needed those yet. UK side easyjet at Bristol Airport just asked if we were vaccinated didn't check any proof.

Off to VT via GVA on Saturday. I've hard and soft copies of NHS Covid vaccination proof, French sworn declaration and my boarding passes. That's all I need.

GVA is Switzerland though - so the airlines wouldn’t care about a French requirement, and neither would Swiss border control.

I’m also off to VT via GVA on Saturday (well technically down the hill in LM, as couldn’t find anywhere at short notice) - I diligently printed and signed my declaration last time over in Jan, but driving from the Swiss side there’s not even a border control to wave them at. I’ll still print them out though ‘just in case’.

Travelled via Eurotunnel last weekend, and they asked you to upload vaccination proof and sworn statement before travelling. Wasn't actually asked to show anything though.
