As above,are there many suitable chalets in The Sella Ronda suitable for a family of 8-10? Just back from another great week on the BB18 and would love to take my kids and grand kids there next year. The Grand kids ages of 3 and 18 months mean a chalet to oursevles would be the easiest option but not sure if many (or any) exist in this area. Would be grateful for any suggestions! Many thanks.

There were quite a few run by British tour ops like Crystal, Neilson, Thomson, Ski Total, etc, but they have dwindled over the years. I've stayed in catered chalets in Selva, Canazei and Arabba.

I recently looked into this for a similar size group.
As @Snowshoer, says there are a few at the luxury end and it looked like it was going to be something like Eur2k pn minimum. At this point we put this on the if-we-win-the-lottery-and-treat-everyone list 
IIRC the only other I could find was with Crystal in Selva. You’ve probably seen it but it’s called Garni Salvan and sleeps 8-10. There were a couple in Val di Fassa but for bigger groups.
I also thought about taking over a full floor of apartments in a block. There are a few small apartment blocks so this is feasible but takes some investment to organise. Or all rooms in a small hotel.

There is a uniquely Italian problem with chalets:
Whilst there are “tourist accommodation” categories for hotels, chalet hotels, B&Bs, apartments, campsites and the like there is no category for the concept of a catered chalets as beloved of the British market.
The story goes like this: once upon a time (several years ago) a chalet manager was moved from Austria to Italy during the season and, as he was accustomed, he took his weekly report to the tourist office somewhere in the Dolomites with a view to paying tourist tax. Unfortunately this was the first time that anyone had brought the chalet to the official attention of the Town Hall and there was consternation. Long story short, that Tour Operator’s chalet operation was quietly declared illegal and the TO closed all its chalets immediately. Other TO’s quickly followed suit. A chalet in Selva stayed open because it was officially run as a B&B (with (non?) optional dinner) by the Italian owner with his British staff (even if the staff wore TO uniform shirts!).
All of this pre-dated Brexit.
