Is the car park at Ahornbahn free ???
From what i can make out on the offical website , you get a ticket from the barrier and have to have it validated for free parking if youve bought a lift pass or i guess you pay ??
We will hopefully arrive around midday ,so it will be before we can check-in to the apartment . The plan is , collect the hire ski's on the way in ,park at Ahornbahn , buy a lift pass for the week ,have a few hours skiing and hopefully validate the parking ticket and drive to the apartment

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

It's free if you have a ski pass and you have done at least one lap on the Ahornbahn! They don't want everyone parking there just to use Penken.
Do one run on Ahorn and go to ticket office to get the car park ticket cancelled.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It sounds perfect. We were only going to park there that one afternoon, the rest of the trip we can walk to the Penkenbahn from our apartment.

Thanks i had a look on google maps .
As its quite a small area , I was hoping to ski the Ahorn the first day to get it out of the way with .Then leave our skis etc at the Penkenbahn lockers so we can walk to the lift each morning about 400-500m . I hate walking in ski boots especially in the morning after a big fat breakfast
