Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi! We are taking our first ever ski holiday at half term in Corvara (2 adults, 2 teenagers). Am literally haemorraging money for this trip (buying clothing, ski lessons etc etc etc for four of us). Anyway we are staying in a hotel that is bed and breakfast only. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are some reasonable places to eat in the evening either in Corvara or anywhere nearby? (We will have a hire car) Thanks!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Can't help...the only time I ate out in the evening was at a Michelin star restaurant for my 50th birthday. Great place to learn to ski

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The Pizzeria Fornella is a good choice if you're on a budget, as are pretty much all of the pizzerias.
Other, less obvious, places to try are:
The Bar Ristorante Al Lago, just 20 yards from the Abruse slope by the ski school.
The Pizzeria Bar Ristorante Pizzeria Stadio, in the Ice Rink Stadium. It's much nicer inside than it looks from the entrance.

Couple of others to add to your list: Adlerkeller next to Hotel Italia. And Taverna posta zirm. Maybe also look at the restaurant at hotel la tambra. At half term I would definitely try to reserve tables. Most of these restaurants get very busy even in low season.
