Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Avoriaz Restaurant Recommendations

Poster: A snowHead
Hello

A group of 8 are travelling to Avoriaz in few weeks and looking for dinner recommendations. Doesn’t have to be really cheap but also not looking for anything majorly expensive. We’ve booked L’etage for one night but looking for a couple of other nights.

We’ll eat pretty much anything so suggestions are greatly appreciated

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I have a little experience in this field, as we used to own a resto in Avoriaz ( in fact the the one that you have booked - l'Etage, although when we had it it was called l'Igloo).

You can't really go wrong with Les Fontaines Blanches or La Reserve, La Falaise is better since the owners changed, and the Wild Horse Saloon always used to be a great place for convivial eating ( there is a small dining room above the main bar). The Dromonts has gone through a transformation since I last ate there, but I imagine it's still really good.

La Boule de Neige didn't used to be very good (poor service, grisly steak, few veggie options), but I haven't ever gone back, as there are so many better places - who knows, it might be ok now.

That’s great. I’ll check some of them out.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

If you're after a lunch time stop in Avoriaz, Changabang always goes down well for burgers
