Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Glasgow Airport - Fast Track Security

Hi, having never flown out of Glasgow in Easter hols before, wondering if it is worth paying for Fast Track Security tomorrow? It is only £6/person, but still don't want to pay that if the airport is going to be quiet.

@trmacc, I wouldn't bother. I have fast track with my BA card and it will only save you about 5 mins.

These days the fast track is often unmanned half the time.

Glasgow is one of the best for getting through security.

@trmacc, Just realised it is Easter.

What you then get are loads of people that don't realise you need to wear all your metal "jewelry" on before the airport. Kids in tow tent to have multiple things that can beep you.

I still wouldn't bother myself.

If you don't have lounge access and are flying BA don't wait in the main area. Head over to gate 19 and there is a bar coffee area there and loads of seats.

If on KLM then head to the gate at about gate 25+ and there is a bar there.

If on easyJet then they will be at gate 10-12 etc and there is not a lot down there.
