Not sure if that is the proper term but my 10yr old fancies a go at jumping and I know some resorts have inflatable bouncy castle type things to land on safely. Anyone know which resorts have them?

Big Air Bags.
E.g. Chamonix has a few. I'm not sure the reality is what he imagines, and I wouldn't make a destination decision based on it!

I think Val Thorens has one, I seem to remember seeing it on the route back to town, perhaps any other EOSBers can confirm?

Yes, definately one just above the town - can't quite remember where (I think somewhere near the Stades lift).

Most major European resorts in high season have them.
Get him backflipping on a big trampoline in a gym before you go. Helps significantly to control the speed of the spin. Happens very fast the first few times.
After around 20-30 skiflips, he should be able to do it easily onpiste without an airbag.

Courchevel 1850 has had one for the past few seasons. Might be worth looking at Morillon too - they have a 'Jam Park' which my boys loved - lots of twists and turns and bumps - so may have an air bag now

Close, use the little "Roc" button lift. The landing bag is just uphill from Pioneers or where the two magic carpets meet.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Les Menuires had one 2 years ago, near the bottom of Stades if I recall correctly. It cost 2 euros for 2 jumps. There was also a mini skicross-type Park above Les Menuires which had smallish jumps to start on.

There's one in Tignes, up at the snowpark.

You know it makes sense.

I've seen them in La Plagne, Val Thorens and Meiribel. Some guys went on the one in VT at the EoSB, think it was only 5 or 10 euros for 3 jumps.

@Clarrylove, Check with the snow domes, most them do an airbag night regularly, if he wants to try in the UK! Also Salomon Grom Camps if he is into that sort of stuff will be great for him

Anyone seen an airbag in use this season anywhere? I'm not sure if it's covid related, but both Avoriaz and Flaine aren't putting up their usual air bags this season.

Ok, good. I was there very early season so maybe they hadn't set it up back then.
