Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

In case you are not aware, the World Cup Finals are being held in Courchevel (16/17 March) and Meribel (18-20 March). Details are available at: https://www.worldcupfinals2022.com/en/practical-info/ Getting in and out of Meribel on the 19/20 March could be fun!

We're in the 3V that week, staying in La Tania. We didn't realise when we booked. Not sure if/how it will impact us. Would be good to watch some of the races but hopefully not too detrimental to the skiing we want to do.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Has anyone been in resort when these events have been going on before? I'll be overlapping with them and am just trying to get a feel for how much disruption they are likely to cause. Will there be a huge influx of visitors and will there be lots of lift closures in the vicinity of the race, or will it just be one slope/one lift closed?

I am not sure if they have had a really big event before - The Eclipse black is new and where the downhill will be taking place. Was nice to ski it. Where it runs will make getting in and out of Le Praz and La Tania interesting. I hope it isn't too inconvenient for people.

They held some of the events in the 1992 Olympics.

They hold events in Courch and Meribel all the time - but not on that bit of the mountain
