Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi there. We are skiing in Livigno for the first time and loving it so far. We went to federia today and we’re trying to ski back to carosello - or to the chairlift that takes you up. The map shows a blue run to the chair lift but all we saw was a steep hill down which we mistakenly decided to avoid. Nate as we chose the red down to The carosello mid point - and let’s say I went down half of it on my bum! New skiing technique. If you’ve been do you know if there’s a small blue run to the chair lift? Or do we just have to ski down the steep hill? Thanks! While I’ve got your attention - what’s you’re favourite cruising blue or red run in Livigno? Thanks again

Seem to remember there's either a short red down from the top of Federia chair to the 3man back up to Carosello or set off down the red towards the Carosello mid and turn left soon after on the blue to reach the 3 man... It's been a while though.
Crusiest blue would be the one from the top of Mottolino side but it's tricky to get to if you don't like steeper reds. Easiest is up chair no1 then the red to no4 to the top. That's a steepish piste between them but there are (or used to be) loops off the side and across to the flat runout of the black from the top that are easier/less steep.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Ah brilliant thanks so much for the reply. Will try that tomorrow.

Agree on the blue at Mottolino. There's also a lovely sun trap restaurant towards the bottom as you exit the trees on your right. When it's time to go home the owner comes out a rings a cow bell.
