OK, booked to go to Chatel (do it yourself trip, easyjet & airbnb) on 15/1/2022. Is there any point in waiting any longer or should I just pull the plug now?

^ No idea either. So far as I can tell, only Parisian media types get advance notice of changes, and they keep a much tighter lid on it than their analogues in the UK.
That said, @Davidof used to have something of an inside line. He seems to have flounced off though, which is all the rage these days

I would wait till the very last minute you can get your money back. Things are changing fast. Can't give much better advice than that.

Why wouldn't you? And if you can't get your money back, why pull the plug at all?

NO. We will be lucky if anything is open by then. Covid rampant amongst operations staff. Megeve is down 25-35% of lift ops and patrol, similar story elsewhere. At little Romme we just lost one of our part timers....wrong Christmas party in Cluses!

Nothing so dramatic I'm afraid, just very busy as we are short staffed with all the people off work with Covid. It is amazing how much work I've been able to get done not checking snowheads threads on Covid etc !
Every time I heard something that was guaranteed going to happen the govt. did something different so no point in trying to second guess what is going on and then sowing confusion on snowheads.
Hope everyone gets away on holiday this season.
