Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Reading the above clinic offers a Covid recovery certificate with QR code for under 16 - £149

Has anyone used this and can confirm you get a QR code and anyone tried the code on the Italian Verifica19 app. We are thinking of getting one child first and testing on the app to see if get a green tick.

We can’t see any other way to get proof of recovery.

@rinky75,
I emailed them today and their response was

Our Proof of Recovery Certificate contains a QR code that takes you to our website and shows that we verify that you have recovered from Covid-19. This Certificates are valid for travel that accepts them, however, you will need to check the exact countries requirements.
Noted that it is a private medical document and cannot be added to the French health app.

In order to obtain a Proof of Recovery Certificate, you will need to submit a photograph of your ID (e.g., Passport / Driver's License), and a proof of a positive COVID-19 test result (either Lateral Flow/PCR), dated longer than 11 days ago and within 180 days. The proof of a positive result must clearly state your name and date of birth.

In addition to uploading your ID and positive test result, you will also be required to complete a medical questionnaire regarding your health.
All this information will need to be submitted on an online form through our website, to which you will be provided the link through your confirmation email.

Once we have received your submission, one of our healthcare professionals will review the information and your Proof of Recovery Certificate will be emailed to you within 3 working hours.
It is no longer necessary to book a GP consultation for this service.

@rinky75,
I am guessing what might happen is that the French will try and scan the QR code - but it doesn’t work and then they will let you get on with it. Eh oh! Eh oh!Eh oh!

Response from Mayfield / the QR code takes you to our website to access certificate of recovery it’s not compatible with EU green pass.

Our decision is now, do we want kids tested every 48 hours to get the basic green pass in Italy which allows access to lifts so long as resorts remain white or yellow zones.

Has anyone had experience of using an private Covid recovery certificate with a QR code in Italy? I am now going through the same process as other posters - i.e. emailing private providers such as Mayfield to get confirmation of compatibility or otherwise. Thanks.

Our daughter tested positive in October and was planning a trip to St.Lucia over Christmas and obviously worried the required pre-flight PCR test would be positive.
When she contacted the St.Lucia tourist board they were very clear that if the previous positive result was shown on her NHS app then that was all they required, no need for a private proof of recovery certificate. Rather bizarrely she still had to pay for a PCR, but the result wouldn't matter.
Virgin said they were happy provided she had an email from the St.Lucia authorities confirming the above. BA were no help at all, so she flew with Virgin.
