Anyone know if you are able to get any refund from booking.com once non refundable period started?
Concerned about Austria travel ban and losing my money?
Are there any insurance policies covering this? Mine only covers if FCO say don’t go there

If no luck, what about using the change dates facility within your booking.com account, if still available in this case? To a much later date, even if it's one you have no genuine interest in?
A bit like the pushing Easyjet credits into the future, by rebooking flights within a window of opportunity.
Better than losing the money.

Pretty sure you will be out of luck as booking.com clearly states that the booking policy of the accommodation you book applies and if that says no refund then probably no refund. 
You should be able to claim on your travel insurance though if unable to travel?

I've done this a couple of times but it is at the discretion of the property. I guess your level of success depends on how nicely you ask, if you want refund or to delay to a later date and how easily they can relet.

Travel insurance seems to only payout if test positive or fco recommends not going there
Government rules don’t seem to cut it!
I guess I need to find someone with covid quick to do a Swab for me!!
