A record-breaking heat wave in Idaho has resulted in huge amounts of snow and ice melting and causing a massive mudslide. The mud, along with rocks and boulders, caused severe damage to property in the Schweitzer ski resort on Wednesday. No one was in the building when the mud slide hit, and no one was hurt. But witnesses said they could hear the slide coming down the mountainside. ...

This area of the US is prone to mudslides. In April, a mudslide 50 feet wide tore through Summit County in Utah.

I was in Sun Valley in March and this year they had a record snowfall . I noticed on Martins first link (the story below the main ) that Big Wood Rive has over flown so it looks pretty bad in Hailey just south of Sun Valley as well.

Hailey's most famous resident is Bruce Willis.
