Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@X5OT76, direct line has a fairly comprehensive policy, including quarantining abroad, and cancellation due to FCO advise not to travel (not many offer this)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thank you. I manage to find another topic about this earlier, and people were also suggesting LV. It’s good to get recommendations from people who have actually used these companies so I will check out direct line tomorrow. Thanks

Have LV. Good although a limit of £1000 towards hotel quarantine abroad.

Lots of policies I’ve seen seem to not cover if you have to cancel your holiday due to government restrictions (destination goes on red list, FCO advises against travel to destination, destination introduces quarantine that would need you to cancel to etc). Do these policies above cover these eventualities?

@Mountain Surfer, direct line definitely does, along with quarantine abroad. I spoke to them the other day to confirm this, and to find out the maximum payment for accommodation if required.

the rep on the phone specifically stated it is "£10,000,000", when i questioned this amount she said it is included in the maximum medical limit!!!!

as much as I would be tempted to move into a 7 star hotel in Courchevel, along with all the Russian oligarchs and their 21 year old Moldovan "neices", if I needed to quarantine, but not sure my credit cards would stretch to it if I have to pay for it first. Toofy Grin Toofy Grin

would just try and find the cheapest available accommodation in Les Menuires where i am staying
