When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello people

I never ski in Via Lattea but next weekend i will think go to Via Lattea, i search in the internet that Montgenevre, Sestriere and Sauze d Oulx is open.

Do you recomend this resort for start the season?
i think spent 4a 5 days...

what is the village you recomend for stay?

Stay in Italy, Sestriere or Sauze. The best skiing is that side (incl Sansicario) and the best and cheapest mountain food is on that side too.

We stayed in Sestriere, the old olympic village hotel and Uapalla tower hotels are good value and well located. Sestriere town has a bit of life at night and places to eat etc.

Its a good place for a weekend, short transfer from airport.
