Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

With 2 kids, and a partner working in secondary education, a ski trip to France this Christmas is looking like a very distant possibility given we need to isolate on return which means isolating on the day we should return to work.
Just looked at PCT Fit to Fly test and the Day 2 Antigen test, so that's another £240 down the swanny too.
Anyone fancy chipping in and going halves on a bulk load of pick axes, shovels and head torches? We could tunnel in if we start tonight?

For day 2 you will now need a PCR test, rather than antigen. The thing about day 2 test is that it is day 0-2, so you can take it immediately on arrival. Some test providers offer in arrivals testing with a next day turnaround. So you can certainly limit the the self isolation period (subject to a negative result of course).
