Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chunk out of ski tip

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi.

Just gone to to give daughters GS skis late summer wax when I noticed a very large chunk out of one of the tips. It runs diagonally from almost the middle of the tip to 3 inches down the edge. it is a very clean break through the metal top sheet and bottom sheet but the p-tex base is still intact in fact this is now like a flap where this has happened. Have not used the ski since coming back form Italy at Easter so maybe this was done flying. But the break is so clean it just seems unlikely. They are a few seasons old but not have not been harshly used and where purchased direct from Rossignol through the race programme. Just wondering if anything like this has happened to anyone else before I contact Rossignol.

Cheers

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@rooski10, I think, "few seasons old" - not entirely sure what I'd be expecting Rossi to do ... I'm also not convinced it'll materially/noticeably effect performance.

Sounds like an odd damage though, as such a clean break thru metal?

Sounds really odd. I would photo it and send to @spyderjon to get his advise.
