Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We booked with Inghams for a 4 day break to Les Deux Alpes departing January 4th. We used a package for the first time in over 20 years due to Covid and their guarantee for repayment if this caused cancellation. Well as we all now know it did and has. 5 working days after asking for my money back it is in my account in full. Very impressed, and I will use them again. Also great communication throughout. Many thanks to them.

That is good to know. We usually book everything independently but seriously thinking it’s time to go back to package trips especially when travelling with family.

I think both Crystal and Inghams are doing their best in difficult circumstances, I really hope things continue to calm down over the next few weeks as this uncertainty could put their futures at risk even though they are both part of large travel companies.

Yep, can’t fault Crystal - had an email sent from crystal 3 hours after Macrons “no UK entrance” post and refunded money within a few days…
Also had La Plagne Lift Passes for family refunded in 4 days, and the ever helpful Oxygene Ski School contacting us straight away - very empathetic posts an Facebook and full refund within 3 days..
Looks like they were all prepared this time… will be looking at Crystal / Inghams for March trip if any SC apartments available.
